It makes perfect sense! But I think in the actual continuity of the show, the writers havstretched themselves so far that their wouldn’t be time to do a story arc like that. Heck, I doubt if Roy is even going to be allowed time to reslove his doppelgänger qwest.

I think that’d be so cool to watch! But highly unlikely to happen. I would enjoy seeing how they transition from a teacher-student relationship into a more “mature” connection. I always am interested in how writers would handle going over that more awkard bump of a shared past. Which would be similar to if they had been best friends or something like that as opposed to nemeses. At least then, they would already have a spark of passion towards one another.
I know last season, they kind of tip toed over a possible “Super Canary” moment with M’gann’s shape shifting. So at the time, it was his age and her position as trainer that justified them not being together. And now that they don’t have those excuses, they haven’t had either of them in the same room all season. Have you noticed that? It’s probably not intentional, but they have completely separated contact between the two since New Year started.
Anyway, I think it’s the show’s intention to get the “breakup” story of Super Martian out there and then finally have them heal eachother’s metaphorical wounds. But honestly, would love to see Conner try to have relationship with another person before they got back together. Even if it were just to make Conner “realize” how much he needs Megan regardless of the circumstances.
Young Justice Episode 5: “Beneath”
Good morning everybody! Trust in the fact that I did enjoy this episode. While it did not evoke the fan girl in me like last week, I came to really fall in love with Barbara Gordon all over again, and I fall in love with Cassie Sandmark more and more each time I see her on THIS show (anywhere else, she still has my scorn). But if I don’t look so peppy this vlog it’s because I really am frustrated with what I wanted to accomplish with these videos. I dont enjoy hearing myself talk, it’s just I want people to be able to take in what I want to say about a subject so we can start having some real discussions about the show! And the fandom!
Oh well, I’ll keep trying.
Cheongsam - Qi Pao
Both, Katara and Toph, as well as Asami are wearing qi paos. The difference in style can be explained by the different time periods i.e. what Asami wears is the height of fashion in the 1920, whereas Katara’s and Toph’s are of a more traditional style. Both styles are appropriate for the situation they’re worn in i.e. a royal party or, in Asami’s case, her being the fashionable daughter of a rich industrialist visiting a fancy restaurant.
The cheongsam is known in Mandarin as the Qi Pao. The stylish and often tight-fitting cheongsam that we know today was created in the 1920s in Shanghai and was made fashionable by socialites and upperclass women. The qipao is the traditional dress of the Manchu, not the Han Chinese, but became common during the Manchu rule (Qing Dynasty). Traditional Han dress is the hanfu.
